Jerome Drayton, noted for winning the Boston Marathon in 1977 and holding the Canadian men's marathon record for 43 years, has passed away at the age of 80. His unexpected death occurred during knee surgery in Toronto. Born Peter Buniak in Germany, he immigrated to Canada in 1956.
