The 63rd Rose Cup Races will take place this weekend at Portland International Raceway. On Saturday and Sunday, July 13 and 14, the best of local and Northwest regional sports car and stock car racers will gather in Portland, as they have since 1961, to race for a bouquet of roses, and to have their name engraved on the historic Rose Cup trophy.
There will be seven race groups competing, including the feature Rose Cup event. The Rose Cup race includes the fastest and most powerful racing cars in the Pacific Northwest. Drivers give everything they've got to win this one because the winners are remembered as Portland's best racing drivers.
