The VA Must Stop Working for Illegals
Briefly

For far too long, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has fallen short in its mission 'To fulfill President Lincoln's promise to care for those who have served in our nation's military and for their families, caregivers, and survivors.' Many veterans face years of fighting for help with hung-up phones, waitlists, and delays.
Despite an increasing disability claims backlog for veterans, the VA has been processing medical claims for illegal immigrants. Under the Biden Administration, the VA's backlog has tripled, reaching 273,307 claims, reflecting a failure to prioritize veterans' care over other obligations.
The VA's allocation of resources to process medical claims for illegal immigrants while struggling to provide satisfactory care to veterans is unacceptable. Veterans, who already face delays and neglect, deserve better treatment and prioritization from the VA.
The VA's decision to divert resources to handle medical claims for illegal immigrants is concerning, especially as veterans continue to experience significant frustration with the agency's disability claims backlog. The VA's failure to address these longstanding issues demonstrates a lack of prioritization of veteran care.
