Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) recently criticized Republicans for promoting the idea that political violence is primarily driven by the left. In an appearance on the podcast American Fever Dream, she emphasized that domestic terrorism is more common among right-wing groups, citing white supremacists like the Proud Boys and neo-Nazis. Crockett argued that the Republican party attracts violent actors, and she dismissed the claims that Black Lives Matter protests were more violent than those associated with the far-right, asserting it is inherently the right that engages in acts of violence.
They try to act like, oh, political violence, it's the Democrats and it's the liberals, and it's like, actually, actually, actually... you got the white supremacists galore.
Republicans, she continued, are a violent group with the support of the Ku Klux Klan and other hate groups.
So like, inherently in like who you are, y'all are violent. And most of your violence has to do with people that's got a little bit of melanin.
I'm sorry, I know they tried to make Black Lives Matter out to be the most violent... No, no, no.
