Ari Fleischer, former Bush White House Press Secretary, suggested deploying facial recognition technology to identify and deport protestors at Trump Tower advocating for the release of detained student Mahmoud Khalil. The protest, organized by Jewish Voice for Peace, faced backlash for its political stance and the undetermined legal status of Khalil. President Trump voiced support for cracking down on anti-Israel demonstrations. Fleischer dismissed claims of free speech, framing the protests as security threats, and urged authorities to act similarly to responses against January 6th rioters, particularly targeting non-citizen protestors for deportation.
As for all these people who are now in Trump Tower, I hope that this administration will do what the Biden administration did to the January 6th people who walked inside the Capitol. They have the technology. Get their faces, match it up with the database, and if any of them are non-citizens, every one of them is trespassing. They all should be deported.
Fleischer called for the government to identify any protestors who aren't citizens and deport them. I make two big points here, Fleischer said on Outnumbered. One, I'm gonna start with the speech facade, the myth that this is about speech.
