
"So you got out of UCLA, went to Harvard Law School, you were a lawyer for a little while at least, and then you entered the world of what we would call conservative media. And you were at Breitbart, which was like the Ur publication of the MAGA movement, I think it's fair to say. You were acquainted with Steve Bannon and all kinds of people."
"He basically came to me and said, Will you come on board and join Breitbart? This was in February 2012. So it was in the middle of the 2012 election cycle. And he died three, four weeks after I had signed up for Breitbart. And suddenly the leadership structure was completely upended because Andrew had been sort of a one-man band. He was obviously a charismatic person."
The person graduated from UCLA and attended Harvard Law School, then worked briefly as a lawyer before entering conservative media. Employment at Talk Radio Network preceded hiring at Breitbart by Andrew Breitbart in February 2012, during the 2012 election cycle. Andrew Breitbart died three to four weeks after the hire, causing a complete leadership upheaval. Steve Bannon, previously on the fringes and making a documentary about Andrew, was installed as president by Larry Solov. Leadership and editorial direction changed dramatically after Andrew's death. Relationships with Steve Bannon were difficult and fraught within the organization.
