I retired early from my demanding job at 55. Now that I'm 86, I attribute my successful retirement to a few key decisions.
Briefly

Frank Noble, 86, attributes his fulfilling early retirement to financial stability and the absence of a mortgage, alongside engaging in hobbies and part-time work. After a demanding career in forestry, where he managed large teams, Noble embraced retirement at 55 after government incentives. Although he initially struggled with the slower pace of life, he found purpose in gardening and part-time business endeavors, which helped him adjust and remain active.

Hobbies, part-time work, and travel helped me adjust to a slower pace of living.

I still would've chosen to retire early. I went on to work for the Forest Commission and was in charge of assessing pine plantations.
