Workplace power balance: Are we entering 'The Boss Era?'
Briefly

Analysts are observing a shift in workplace dynamics back to favoring employers, as trends like remote work and quiet quitting diminish. Experts highlight a new era termed 'The Boss Era,' characterized by increased worker surveillance and pressure to conform to traditional work expectations. Greg Stoller notes that employees need to enhance their work commitment to maintain job security, while workers, such as Joel Veilleux, express discomfort with returning to office routines. The overall sentiment is that bosses are regaining control and employees must adapt accordingly.
You don't have the privilege of a job. You work for it, earn it.
I think bosses have really wanted to reassert control, whether that's surveilling people through their computers or getting them back in the office.
This is not a drill, this is not a blip; right now, I think the pendulum is shifted back to the bosses being able to call the shots.
The onus is on the employee to work harder, so if you're working from 9-5, I'm telling people to come in at 8:30, stay until 5:30.
