Dedicated office space can be highly sought after and, in some estimates, add up to 15 percent to a property's value. Hybrid working patterns and the prevalence of one-person businesses operating from homes have increased demand for professional workspaces. Property listings with offices have risen, with around 82,000 residential properties featuring an office listed in January 2026 on Zoopla. Converted rooms, garden offices, and outbuildings tend to attract more serious buyer interest.
