Craig Bennett has been appointed chief executive officer of Ascribe, succeeding Jake Nice, who will become chairman and focus on broader StoicLane initiatives. Bennett brings nearly 15 years of senior-level financial services experience, including five years at StoicLane, and nearly two decades of technology, product development and operations experience. Bennett will oversee Ascribe's technology platform, service delivery operations and geographic expansion, focusing on support for mortgage origination, servicing and default markets. Bennett previously served as vice president and head of technology for StoicLane and held senior leadership roles at Enova Financial, Amount and Avant. Bennett worked closely with Nice developing Ascribe's operational structure and client service approach.
