The parcel is bounded by North First Street, Daggett Drive, Zanker Road and East Plumeria Drive and contains older buildings and empty structure pads. BXP initially proposed a 1.1 million-square-foot tech campus in 2016 but the coronavirus-driven decline in office occupancy prompted a strategic shift. In 2024 BXP proposed housing on seven acres and by May 2025 listed the entire property for sale. BXP has also sold other South Bay sites, including a 3.6-acre Almaden parcel for $13.5 million and a Santa Clara site for $90 million.
