Compass International Holdings, formed after closing its $1.6 billion acquisition of Anywhere Real Estate in January 2026, has appointed Shay Artzi as chief technology officer. Artzi will lead efforts to integrate 340,000 real estate professionals onto CIH's unified technology platform. Previously serving as Compass's head of engineering, Artzi oversaw launches of Compass AI and Compass One. The company aims to automate routine tasks and enable agents to focus on client relationships and business growth. Artzi brings experience from leadership roles at IBM and Amazon. CEO Robert Reffkin emphasized Artzi's vision centers on building tools that help agents save time, expand their businesses, and improve client service.
