Antony, currently on loan from Manchester United to Real Betis, has expressed a desire to extend his stay for another year after a strong start in La Liga. He has scored two goals and provided two assists in five matches, alongside his contributions in the Europa Conference League. Betis CEO Samon Alarcon shared that Antony feels comfortable in Spain, appreciating the facilities provided upon his arrival. Previously struggling at Manchester United, Antony’s loan has allowed him to rejuvenate his career and significantly impact his new team.
Antony told me that he wanted to stay another year. The player is very comfortable here and was surprised by the facilities we gave him to settle in.
Since his LaLiga debut, only Lamine Yamal and Betis team-mate Isco have created more chances in the division than Antony.
