Bellingham banned for two games in LaLiga over referee abuse - Soccer News
Briefly

Jude Bellingham, the Real Madrid midfielder, was handed a two-match suspension after being sent off for allegedly verbally abusing referee Jose Munuera Montero during a LaLiga match against Osasuna. Despite Bellingham and coach Carlo Ancelotti claiming the referee was mistaken, the Spanish Football Association (RFEF) enforced the ban to address referee abuse. The incident has exacerbated tensions between Real Madrid, the RFEF, and LaLiga, with Madrid planning to appeal the decision. The ban does not affect Bellingham's eligibility for UEFA competitions, allowing him to play against Manchester City in the Champions League.
Although Bellingham and his coach Carlo Ancelotti said the official had been mistaken, the Spanish Football Association's (RFEF) disciplinary committee has imposed the ban.
Madrid subsequently said they will appeal to try to have Bellingham available for their upcoming LaLiga games against Girona and Real Betis.
