Newsletter September 2024
Briefly

During the last month, our focus has been primarily on bug fixes, behavior improvements, and performance enhancements while prepping for the upcoming release 7.4 on November 4th. In this release, we are also excited to introduce new features that will enhance user experience.
We have improved our handling of exceptions in sales and purchases by adding fields that allow users to specify records to ignore or re-create. This ensures that any cancelled records not addressed will remain in an exception state for future processing.
With this update, Tryton will no longer recommend inactive products on sale orders, nor will it add extra lines for them. This streamlines the ordering process and prevents confusion over product availability.
We have also simplified our reporting structure. The previous menu for associated parties has been removed as it provided unfiltered results. Now, users can rely on new reports that filter by state and period for better clarity.
