I am nominating myself for the Steering Council to ensure that Django has a secure future. Personally I have used Django for the last 12 years and it has been integral to my software engineering career.
While there is energy in the community, the technical vision has stagnated and needs revitalization. My aim is to contribute to moving Django forward in a meaningful way.
