10 years of Python conferences
Briefly

I left a few days into the PyCon US 2014 sprints and I remember feeling a bit like summer camp was ending. I'd played board games, contributed to an open source project, seen tons of talks, and met a ton of people.
I helped PyVideo upgrade their code base from Python 2 to Python 3... Will guided me through the code base and seemed grateful for the help. I also got the idea to write front-end JavaScript tests for Django during the sprints... thanks to Carl Meyer's guidance.
...attended Django BarCamp at the Eventbrite office. That was my first exposure to the idea of an 'unconference'... kept in mind when I spotted the open spaces board at PyCon 2015.
