"Following the holiday season, there is often a significant dip in blood donations due to travel, seasonal illnesses, and busy schedules, which can leave supplies dangerously low. To encourage more people to donate, Stanford Blood Center is partnering with the Golden State Warriors during National Blood Donor Month. Throughout January, blood donors at all Stanford Blood Centers, including the South Bay Donor Center in Campbell, will receive a free Warriors sweatshirt as a thank-you gift."
"Valley Water is accepting applications for its Water 101 Academy until 5 p.m. on Jan. 9. Water 101 Academy is a free program for adults in Santa Clara County to promote water awareness, address misinformation and support community initiatives like creek cleanups and flood preparedness outreach. Directors chooses three candidates from their district to create the 21-member cohort, who will learn about the local water system and the agency's projects through webinars and tours of water infrastructure."

Stanford Blood Center is partnering with the Golden State Warriors during National Blood Donor Month to encourage donations by offering a free Warriors sweatshirt throughout January at all Stanford Blood Centers, including the South Bay Donor Center in Campbell. Appointments can be made online, by phone, or via text, and walk-ins are welcome. Donors must be healthy and at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent). Valley Water is accepting applications for its free Water 101 Academy for Santa Clara County adults until Jan. 9, selecting a 21-member cohort through district nominations to learn about the local water system via webinars and infrastructure tours.
