Teenager in west of country diagnosed with measles, marking second case this year

The second case comes after Health Minister Stephen Donnelly received approval this week for the roll out of a major vaccination campaign to offer the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine to a range of age groups.
The HSE is finalizing plans for the roll out of a proactive MMR vaccine catch-up programme in response to a rise in measles case in the UK and Europe.
