Significant IT problems at Southern Health Trust are continuing into Thursday, triggering a major incident at sites including Craigavon and Daisy Hill hospitals. The majority of planned surgery and outpatient appointments have been cancelled and ambulances are being diverted while staff work to resolve the issues. Patients were asked not to attend any hospital or community appointments on Wednesday. Priority care is being maintained for emergency and critically ill patients, and cancelled procedures and appointments will be rescheduled as soon as possible. Several patients described frustration and disruption, while staff on site continued to support affected patients.
