Now, after decades of research, the first RSV vaccines are available and have been recommended for use by immunization experts in Ireland.
The second is the Abrysvo vaccine made by Pfizer. It is aimed at providing passive protection against lower respiratory-tract disease in infants from birth through six months of age.
