But the foundation is the same."

The Anti-Pomodoro technique relies on extremely short work sprints followed by longer breaks to reduce inertia and create momentum. Users can customize the ratio, for example five minutes of work with ten or twenty minute breaks, or shorten sprints to one minute when motivation is low. The method emphasizes breaking tasks into the smallest possible actions and repeatedly starting small to overcome avoidance. Recording every small completed item on a to-do list produces visible progress and increases satisfaction when reviewing the day's accomplishments.
