A new tab page in Edge for Business will gather calendar entries, files, and Copilot prompts to reduce switching between tools. The browser version will include corporate data protection features for enterprises. Copy and paste can be blocked, and AI prompts and responses will remain within the Microsoft 365 tenant without being used to train models. Enterprises can audit prompts and block sensitive uploads. Protections apply immediately after users sign into Edge for Business. Microsoft Purview will analyze file uploads to detect sensitive data and allow enterprises to block noncompliant actions. Access requires signing up for a limited preview.
