Google's spotty Find Hub network could get better thanks to a small setup tweak
Briefly

Bluetooth trackers, popularized by Apple's AirTags, are being enhanced by Google with the upcoming integration of Find Hub into Android's setup process. This new screen, part of Play Services version 25.24, aims to simplify the configuration for better tracking effectiveness. Current limitations, such as its reliance on densely populated areas, are being addressed. Previously buried under multiple menus, the update would make tracking easier for users, hoping to mitigate the shortcomings seen in Google's previous tracking features, which had strict location finding rules.
Bluetooth trackers gained traction with Apple’s AirTags, which incorporated anti-stalking features, but Google’s Find Hub has struggled for similar efficacy on Android.
Google is set to enhance the Android setup process, allowing users to configure Find Hub for improved remote tracking during phone setup.
