Cabot Financial (Ireland) Ltd reported a significant cyber attack that resulted in the theft of roughly 394,000 data files, impacting customer confidential information and their loan book.
The High Court proceedings have highlighted Cabot's claims against unidentified attackers and Aeza International Ltd, a UK-based web hosting provider, for their alleged role in the attack.
In a recent ruling, the High Court granted Cabot an injunction, compelling Aeza and 'persons unknown' to recover and return approximately 356 GB of sensitive data that was extracted from their systems.
