Pavel Durov, the Telegram CEO, was arrested at Le Bourget Airport as part of a French investigation related to serious allegations involving illegal online transactions and child pornography.
Prosecutors stated that the charges against Durov include complicity in possessing and distributing pornographic images of minors and facilitating organized crime through Telegram.
