Mike Lynch, the British tech entrepreneur, recently acquitted in an £8bn fraud case, is now missing after his yacht sank off the coast of Sicily.
The incident occurred just weeks after Lynch's remarkable legal victory, which cleared him of fraud charges in a US court after a lengthy 13-year legal battle with HP.
Lynch's yacht, named Bayesian, was caught in a freak tornado off Palermo, with several passengers rescued but Lynch, his daughter, and others still missing.
