Shiny monsters are coming to Pokemon TCG Pocket

The Pokémon Company has announced the launch of the Pokémon TCG Pocket expansion, Shining Revelry, scheduled for March 27th. This new set will feature shiny variants of popular Pokémon such as Charizard and introduce characters from the newest games on Switch, like Sprigatito and gym leader Iono. To enhance engagement, ranked competitive matches will begin concurrently with the set's launch, running through April 26th. Players can also collect shiny Charizard-themed accessories after April 1st as part of gameplay objectives, enriching the overall experience and connection to the franchise.
The release of Pokémon TCG Pocket's Shining Revelry set, featuring shiny versions of popular Pokémon, aims to alleviate the scarcity issue of physical packs.
Apart from introducing shiny Pokémon, the Shining Revelry expansion will also feature new characters from recent Switch games, enhancing the game's connection to newer content.
Ranked competitive matches will launch alongside Shining Revelry on March 27th, providing players with a new event running until April 26th.
