The civil lawsuit against former NBA star Dwight Howard alleging sexual assault and battery has been dismissed, with all claims filed by Stephen Harper dropped with prejudice.
Harper's allegations included 'intentional infliction of emotional distress' and false imprisonment, stemming from a July 2021 encounter at Howard's Georgia residence.
Howard denied the allegations, asserting that the encounter was consensual, and described the accusations as baseless in his court filings.
A judge had previously denied Howard's request to dismiss the lawsuit without a trial, but Harper ultimately chose to dismiss all claims.
