Approximately 167,171 pounds of frozen and ready-to-eat chicken breast nuggets and tenders products are being recalled over fears they may be contaminated with metal.
Perdue Foods LLC received complaints from customers stating that they found metal wire embedded into the chicken products, triggering the recall.
Fortunately, there are no confirmed reports of injuries related to the metal contamination from these products, but safety precautions should always be taken.
If you have purchased any of the recalled products, do not consume them; return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
