Musk's X lawsuit against Media Matters is headed to trial
Briefly

"As the Court must accept all well-pleaded facts in the complaint as true and view them in the light most favorable to the plaintiff," O'Connor wrote.
"Understandably, many of these facts are disputed," O'Connor continued, but because the allegations potentially could be true and were reasonably argued, X 'has provided sufficient allegations to survive dismissal.'
"Media Matters knowingly and maliciously manufactured side-by-side images depicting advertisers' posts on X Corp.'s social media platform beside Neo-Nazi and white-nationalist fringe content and then portrayed these manufactured images as if they were what typical X users experience on the platform," the site formerly known as Twitter argued.
Media Matters has called the suit 'frivolous' and 'meant to bully X's critics into silence,' highlighting the contentious nature of the lawsuit.
