Minister signs off on Kim Dotcom's NZ to US extradition
Briefly

"I considered all of the information carefully, and have decided that Mr Dotcom should be surrendered to the US to face trial." - Paul Goldsmith, New Zealand minister of justice.
"I love New Zealand. I'm not leaving," he added, indicating a plan to stay and appeal the extradition for an indefinite time.
Dotcom has resisted extradition since 2012, and although a 2020 decision upheld it, ministerial action was needed to proceed.
The US asserts that Dotcom made his fortune through digital piracy, while Dotcom claims he is not responsible for user actions on the platform.
