The Home Office is investing £15m in partnerships with 11 countries to increase deportations of small boat migrants, following a tragic incident where 12 people died in a crossing.
Under a new contract, the UK government plans to allocate £5m annually to charities assisting deported migrants with reintegration, including support for accommodation, food, and mental health.
