Jens Lehmann fined 135,000 for damaging neighbour's garage with chainsaw
Briefly

Jens Lehmann has been fined €135,000 for damaging a neighbor's garage with a chainsaw, accepting responsibility and reaching an agreement with the victim.
Initially fined €420,000 for sawing off a roof beam, Lehmann successfully appealed the penalty down to €135,000 in a Starnberg court.
The judge stated that Lehmann has consistently portrayed himself as a victim of the justice system, but concluded he is indeed a perpetrator.
Adding to his legal troubles, Lehmann was also accused of avoiding payment of parking fees at Munich airport, which he has since paid.
