I am sorry and ashamed after BBC sacking - Jenas
Briefly

Jermaine Jenas expressed deep regret over his termination from the BBC, acknowledging he sent inappropriate messages but insisting he did nothing illegal. He stated, "I’ve let everybody down - my colleagues, my friends and, most importantly, I’ve let my family down." Noting the messages were sent to two consenting adults, he called it a "huge error of judgment." Jenas is currently receiving therapy and feels he has lost everything.
In his interview, Jenas stated, "I feel so ashamed. I know it's on me that right now I feel I have lost everything. I feel like people are judging me and that I am the number one target right now in the country." He clarified that although he considered his actions cheating, "nothing physical ever happened," and he did not send explicit content.
