The CQC report highlighted that, "People were not always protected from the risk of abuse and harm. Robust risk assessments and safeguarding processes were not in place to ensure people received safe care."
Although The Farmhouse care home improved from 'inadequate' to 'requires improvement', it was still found in breach of regulations in areas like risk assessments, safeguarding, and staff recruitment.
Inspectors noted, "Lessons were not always being learnt following incidents and accidents to improve the service," which indicates ongoing concerns about service quality.
The management of the care home required improvement, with the report stating, "this meant there was a lack of oversight in ensuring staff were suitable to work with people who used the service."
