Court documents allege that between October and December 2025 he used confidential data tied to Google’s annual Year in Search report. Early bets involved whether specific individuals would be named most-searched, including Kendrick Lamar, Pope Leo XIV, D4vd, Bianca Censori, and Donald Trump. The alleged activity included re-accessing Year in Search data in November after an earlier access in October, with odds changing accordingly. After Google released the 2025 Year in Search on December 4, the AlphaRaccoon account allegedly generated about $1.2 million in profits from the bets.
