The family of Ryan Pincus, who was shot by a hotel security guard in San Francisco, is suing the guard's employer for wrongful death and negligent hiring.
Attorney Blair Kittle stated, 'Over a roughly 3½ minute period, without provocation or justification, [the security guard] verbally and then physically attacked Ryan,' leading to the fatal shooting.
The lawsuit reveals that the alleged shooter has been on the run for 13 months despite law enforcement's efforts to locate him.
