Community pleas for end to feud between Cork and Limerick group which left girl (12) seriously injured

The child is recovering in Temple Street Hospital in Dublin having undergone emergency surgery. She is making a good recovery from her ordeal and is understood to be in a stable condition.
Charleville Parish Priest Fr Donal O'Mahony warned that 'violence only begets more violence' - and said the Charleville community was appalled by what had happened.
Councillor John Paul O'Shea said the community was disgusted by what had happened. He urged people to support the GardaĆ­ and help bring the culprits to justice.
Community leaders have also urged those involved to end the feud before another person is seriously injured or even killed.
