Police are investigating a possible terrorism motive behind a stabbing attack on military chaplain Fr Paul Murphy, linked to online radicalization and grievances over Irish peacekeepers.
Fr Murphy, in civilian clothes, was stabbed multiple times outside Renmore barracks after a teenager, reportedly radicalized online, approached him while he sat in his car.
The taoiseach called the incident shocking, emphasizing the need for the police to conduct thorough investigations into the motives behind the attack on the chaplain.
