Brent Council has expressed its increasing concern over the inconsiderate parking of Lime's dockless e-bikes, calling for improvements to ensure pedestrian safety.
Councillor Muhammed Butt stated, "To date, Lime has not satisfied our proposals, which we consider vital to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the scheme in Brent."
Brent Council is demanding that Lime introduce dedicated parking bays for e-bikes and increase fines for users leaving them inappropriately.
Unless Lime addresses these critical issues promptly and responsibly, Brent Council has indicated it will bar the company's services in the borough.
