Nearly 138,000 Lucid-branded platform beds are recalled due to serious safety risks including collapse and injury, urging immediate replacement for users.
The CPSC reports 245 incidents of the beds collapsing in the U.S., leading to 18 documented injuries. Canada noted an additional 11 failures.
Consumers with recalled beds are instructed to stop use, write 'recalled' on support rails, and submit photos for a replacement from Lucid.
The beds were manufactured between 2019-2021 but continued selling through major retailers until April 2024, highlighting consumer safety concerns.
