The New South Wales Independent Casino Commission (NICC) reported that Star Entertainment has not adequately addressed its governance and cultural issues since a 2022 inquiry found it unfit for licensure.
NICC's chief commissioner noted that Star Entertainment has only recently begun tackling problems that should have been prioritized much earlier, raising questions about its future operational capacity.
