The Itzehoe court found Irmgard Furchner knew of and deliberately supported the cruel killings of 10,505 prisoners during her tenure as a secretary at Stutthof.
Furchner's lawyers are questioning her actual awareness of the atrocities, arguing that she may not have truly understood her role in the crimes committed.
