This New California Resort Will Have a Self-serve Wine Wall, a Whale Watch Alert System, and the Largest Pool in Pismo Beach
""Pismo Beach represents the soul of the classic California beach town, and Pacific Point Resort serves as a front-row seat to its natural wonders," says Heather Stege, chief operating officer of Peregrine Hospitality, the hotel's owner and operator. "We designed the property to celebrate the local wildlife as a central part of the guest journey, ensuring the Pacific is always the main attraction.""
"The resort's interiors, by SFA Design, split the property into two distinct moods. In the 100 Shore Cliff guest rooms and suites, the look pulls from a 1970s California road trip, with earthy colors, tulip lamps, vintage photography, and custom mural wallcoverings with scenic coastal views."
"Meanwhile, the 40 Lighthouse and 30 Ocean House suites lean more beach-town base camp, with surf-inspired details and artwork by local artists and photographers that nod to the area's shoreline and local culture."
Pacific Point Resort is set to open in July 2026 in Pismo Beach, California, merging the Pismo Lighthouse Suites and Shore Cliff Hotel into a 170-key oceanfront property. The resort will feature most rooms with ocean views and direct access to the Pismo Coastal Access Trail. Designed by SFA Design, the interiors reflect two distinct styles, one inspired by 1970s California and the other by local beach culture. The resort aims to celebrate local wildlife and the natural beauty of the coastline.
