Primus debuted their new drummer, John Hoffman, at the Tool in the Sand festival in Punta Cana on March 8th, performing alongside Danny Carey. Hoffman, who recently won the position against over 6,000 applicants, replaces Tim 'Herb' Alexander. The performance featured a mix of songs, with Carey drumming for the initial tracks before Hoffman joined him and then took the lead on others. Following their first show together, Primus announced their upcoming tour with A Perfect Circle and Puscifer, starting April 24th.
