Local filmmaker Bob Richardson is creating a documentary titled Pipe Dreams and Pizza Crusts, exploring the restaurant's legacy and its connections to a broader cultural movement. The film has evolved from a simple project into a comprehensive look at over 100 similar restaurants that existed across the country during the 60s, 70s, and 80s, with only three remaining today.
