A decade-old sports bar specified increasing costs as reasons for its closure. Nearby, just a few blocks away, another establishment is closing due to economic pressures post-pandemic.
The owners stated that they have battled a declining neighborhood, inflation, and the relentless rise of costs from ingredients to labor. The hits just kept coming.
Bruce Rice expressed his gratitude for the community that has supported CC Slaughters for over 22 years, highlighting the club's significant role since it opened in 1981.
