The Mercury invites readers to participate in its Valentine’s Day initiative by submitting love notes of up to 150 characters. These messages will be featured in a special print edition and on the website, allowing for a broad celebration of affection. Participants are encouraged to express love, though mean or nonsensical submissions will not be accepted. Additionally, contributors are prompted to support the Mercury with a suggested $5 donation to help sustain its community-focused journalism and events.
