Mt. Hood Meadows opens this week, the earliest ski season in more than a decade

Mt. Hood Meadows will open its ski season on November 15, 2023, marking the earliest start in 15 years due to favorable snowfall conditions.

Typically, skiers and snowboarders at Mt. Hood Meadows have to wait until Thanksgiving weekend for the slopes, but this year’s earlier opening is a special treat.
